Senior Data Scientist

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Featurespace. As a key member of our Data and Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by building advanced statistical models and algorithms that infer and predict individual customer behaviors in real-time, based on retail, online, and ecommerce transaction data.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of advanced statistical models and algorithms that infer and predict individual customer behaviors in real-time, based on retail, online, and ecommerce transaction data
- Coach and support junior team members through technical leadership and mentorship
- Contribute to improvements in data science products and processes by collaborating with Engineering, Product, and Research teams
About You
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced data scientist with a strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis. You will have a good degree in a scientific or numerate discipline, and proven experience in client-facing roles, with the ability to communicate complex analytical concepts to a variety of audiences.
You will also have experience working with customers to gather complex sets of requirements, including analytical system design, data integration design, and model design. Additionally, you will have knowledge of Python and familiarity with SQL, as well as experience with software engineering, version control, and the Unix command line.
