The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Featurespace. As a key member of our Data and Analytics team, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by building advanced statistical models and algorithms that infer and predict individual customer behaviors in real-time, based on retail, online, and ecommerce transaction data.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy advanced statistical models and algorithms that drive business insights and inform strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions that meet business needs
  • Coach and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and expertise in data science and analytics
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and data science, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement in our data-driven solutions

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced data scientist who possesses a strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis. You will have a good degree in a scientific or numerate discipline, and proven experience in developing and deploying advanced statistical models and algorithms in a business context.

You will be able to communicate complex analytical concepts to a variety of audiences, and have a strong ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven solutions.

Requirements

  • Good degree in a scientific or numerate discipline, e.g., Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in developing and deploying advanced statistical models and algorithms in a business context
  • Strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
