About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Relief Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone's Hawkesbury Place development in Stow-on-the-Wold, Oxfordshire.

As a Relief Care Assistant, you will provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later life to the fullest. Your duties will include delivering housekeeping and domestic support across the general estate, supporting and encouraging residents to participate in activities that promote their health and wellbeing, and assisting with daily tasks such as booking appointments and arranging transport.

We are looking for a warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people. You will have a strong desire to deliver excellent customer service and be driven to provide high-quality care and support.

About You
  • You will be a team player with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • You will have a strong understanding of the importance of dignity and respect in care and support.
  • You will be able to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, and be willing to participate in on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.
