We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate teaching assistant to join our dynamic team at a fantastic special needs school in Dawlish.

As a teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers in delivering tailored lessons, adapting materials, and providing one-to-one or small group support.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting learning: Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting materials
  • Encouraging development: Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere
  • Collaborating: Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to implement EHCPs and track student progress
  • Engaging and inspiring: Use creative approaches to engage students and help them overcome challenges
