Our client, a prominent player in the Construction industry, is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover Herts, Beds, Bucks & the Northants areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities.
  • Maximising revenue from existing customer accounts.
  • Establishing, developing and maintaining positive customer relationships.
  • Negotiating with customers to achieve the best price for both the company and the customer.
  • Ensuring excellent customer relationships are maintained by being available for client queries as and when required.
  • Visiting and presenting to new clients as well as visiting existing clients periodically.
  • Weekly travel planning and reporting.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry developments, market trends etc.
  • Meeting or exceeding agreed sales targets.

Requirements:

  • A strong and continuous focus on business development and forward planning for business needs.
  • Capable of building a customer/client base who are seeking rental solutions for long term profitable projects.
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiating skills.
  • Highly motivated and target driven.
