About this Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maths tutor to deliver high-quality teaching to adult learners. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching Maths to adult learners, with a flexible approach to meet the diverse needs of our learners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching GCSE and Functional Skills classes, as well as delivering Maths sessions for the Family Learning department. They will also be expected to plan, develop, and deliver courses effectively, utilizing competent IT skills.

Key qualifications for the role include a recognized teaching qualification (Level 3 minimum), a subject-specific qualification or equivalent industry experience, and Level 2 English and Maths or equivalent. The successful candidate will also have the ability to motivate, support, and develop every learner through outstanding teaching and learning to achieve a successful outcome in their Maths studies.
