Company OverviewMersey Care NHS Foundation Trust is one of the largest trusts providing physical health and mental health services in the North West, serving over 1.4 million people across our region. We offer specialist inpatient and community services that support physical and mental health, including high secure mental health facilities.
Job DescriptionThis part-time post will be based at Hollins Park House in Warrington and will involve working collaboratively with in-patient services to reduce length of stay, supporting step down and recovery in the community, and applying a proactive risk management approach to enable service users to fulfill their individual potential and achieve their goals.
Main Duties- Fulfilling the Community Responsible Clinician responsibility for patients accepted into the service
- Providing outpatient or community clinics and home visits
- Participating in regular MDT meetings, CPA reviews, MAPPA, safeguarding, risk reviews and providing clinical leadership and Responsible Clinician role
The role also involves delivering offence specific therapeutic interventions, ensuring robust multi-agency involvement to ensure public/community safety, and working closely with Cheshire and Merseyside Learning Disability services and Mersey Care Forensic LD services.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Eligible for inclusion in Specialist Register or within 6 months of gaining CCT
- CCT in Psychiatry
The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience of assessing and treating individuals with learning disability and or autism, treating individuals with forensic needs, and flexible and tolerant approach.
BenefitsThis is a part-time post with Total PAs: 6 [SPA: 1.5]. The salary range is £105,504 - £139,882 per annum, pro rata plus 10% R&R (non contractual). Flexible working requests will be considered for all roles.
