We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Safety Case Consultant to join our team at Total Resourcing Ltd. As a key member of our Safety Case team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients in the production of safety cases and associated assessments for high-hazard category facilities and plants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality consultancy services that meet and exceed client expectations in terms of technical excellence, quality of deliverables, timescales, and cost.
  • Contribute to the development of safety cases and assessments for high-hazard category facilities and plants, including fault analysis and the identification and specification of safety systems.
  • Produce robust and reasoned arguments in a rational and coherent manner, and participate in the integrated design process.
  • Interface with engineers and human factors specialists to ensure effective collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Respond to client, peer review, and safety committee comments, and attend meetings with more senior colleagues and clients.
  • Identify opportunities for growth and development within the business, and support the mentoring and coaching of graduates.
Requirements
  • BSc/MSc or BEng/MEng in a relevant engineering, science, or related field of study.
  • Willingness to obtain a security clearance.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional engineering or technical specialist experience.
  • Basic understanding of the safety case production process and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with areas such as decommissioning, optioneering, best practice, human factors, radioactive materials transport, licensing, and radioactive waste.
