About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Assistant to join our team at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare and education to children aged 6 months to 8 years.
Main Responsibilities
- Assist the management team in providing a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children.
- Plan and execute educational activities for children, maintaining child-to-staff ratios and adhering to Ofsted and Trust procedures.
- Provide positive interactions with children, promoting their language and learning opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, sharing information about their child's day.
Requirements
- NVQ level 2 in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
- Previous experience working with children under 5 years old.
- Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
