Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive, patient-oriented pharmacy advice and support services at ward level for Queens Hospital and Saint Francis Hospice. They will also support community-facing hospice staff, particularly the Specialist Community Crisis and Support (SCCS) team.
The post holder will facilitate good supportive relationships with BHR/SW Essex Community pharmacy services and BHR/SW Essex pharmacy leads, as well as NELFT Community services pharmacy leads.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a Postgraduate Diploma in General Pharmacy Practice/Clinical Pharmacy (or equivalent qualification) and comprehensive experience as a clinical pharmacist practitioner. They will also have good organisational and time management skills and be able to meet set targets and deadlines.
Experience in developing training within palliative care and change management experience are desirable criteria. The successful candidate must have appropriate UK professional registration and be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
