BMW Group Financial Services Accountant

We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Financial Services Accountants at BMW Group. As a key member of our accounting team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Reconcile and control specific bank and balance sheet accounts, incorporating analysis of postings within the accounts and journal preparation and posting.
- Complete the month-end financial reporting to BMW Group Headquarters for local entities.
- Support the business and assist with customer management and issue resolution from a financial perspective.
- Involved in financial accounting projects and enhancements as they occur, ensuring compliance with national legislation, IFRS's, and BMW Group Accounting Guidelines.
- Studying towards a Finance, Accounting or Economics degree or, alternatively, a numerical discipline (i.e. Mathematics, Sciences or Engineering) with a demonstrable interest in financial topics.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- A competitive annual salary of £23,700, 27 days holiday per annum (pro rata to your contract) and an attractive pension scheme.
- Contracted working hours are 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, helping you develop a fulfilling work-life balance.
