About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team at Anchor Hanover's luxurious new care home in Leeds. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and maintenance throughout the home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of housekeepers to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the care home.
  • Ensure that all cleaning products are used effectively and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules to ensure that all areas of the care home are maintained to a high standard.
  • Monitor and maintain the condition of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment to ensure that they are in good working order.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that the care home is maintained to a high standard.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures and protocols.
