Job Title: Practice Support Specialist

Ryder Reid Legal Limited is looking for a Practice Support Specialist to join their team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a prestigious global law firm client's Capital Markets practice group, supporting the development of knowledge sharing initiatives, research, and information services.

About the Role:

  1. Partner with the Practice Development Lawyer and Manager to deliver services supporting the Capital Markets and related corporate practice groups.
  2. Ensure that knowledge tools and repositories (iManage, SharePoint) are up-to-date and relevant.
  3. Work closely with the global Knowledge Solutions team to develop and maintain knowledge channels, providing easy access to expertise.
  4. Support internal training activities by creating materials and presenting to trainees, new joiners, and staff.
  5. Be a point of contact for enquiries on the firm's precedent and know-how.
  6. Collaborate with other professional support functions such as Library & Information Services, Business Development, and Learning and Development.
  7. Gather end-user feedback to inform practice group programs and overall firm initiatives.
  8. Conduct extensive legal research to support practice groups.
  9. Stay up-to-date with legal and market developments to maintain current awareness programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficient in technology and highly computer literate.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of working with individuals at varying levels of seniority and expertise.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to take ownership of tasks.
  • Organized with a keen eye for detail.

Estimated Salary: The estimated salary for this role is £52,500 per annum, based on industry standards and location. Please note that the actual salary may vary depending on individual circumstances. We also offer benefits including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave.
