About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our railway projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and managing railway projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Provide day-to-day support to the project team, ensuring they achieve project milestones and deliverables.
  3. Assist in the production of financial reports and project performance reports, and provide analysis and recommendations to the Project Manager.
  4. Report project performance to the relevant manager and clients, highlighting and managing risks and issues throughout the project life cycle.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. Experience in a similar role, ideally within the rail or construction industry.
  2. Strong project coordination and management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  4. Competent user of MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
