Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Solid people. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading software implementation and development projects from initiation to delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, software implementation, and customer-facing experience. You will be responsible for managing project plans, schedules, and budgets, as well as ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate projects with clients and internal teams
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
  • Present project plans and standard processes to clients and internal teams
  • Coordinate meetings and collaboration between technical team members and clients
  • Maintain and update project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Build and manage customized project plans with technical team members
  • Ensure thorough gathering and documentation of project requirements
  • Conduct formal risk and issue management and develop mitigation strategies
  • Monitor and report on project Earned Value compared to original estimates
  • Assist the Sales team in estimating potential projects
  • Support Sales with content and input on Proposals and Statements of Work

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or related discipline
  • Completed a Project Management fundamentals course
  • Certificate in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, APM, AgilePM, Scrum Master, MSP, MoP, ITIL, or Six Sigma)
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience
  • Project managed software implementation or software development
  • Understanding of on-premises and cloud-based software deployments

  • 37.5 Hours P/W | Monday to Friday | 9am to 5:30pm | 25+8 Days Holiday | Performance & Company Bonus | NEST Pension Scheme
