This is an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic Paediatric Assessment Unit as a Staff Nurse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to children and young people with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide holistic care to patients, including assessment, planning, and implementation of care plans.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in the supervision and teaching of untrained staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and supportive environment, promoting good communication and relationships between staff, patients, relatives, and visitors.
- Registered General Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
- Experience in an acute care setting, preferably in paediatrics.
- Standard keyboard skills and knowledge of IT packages, including Word, PAS, and E-rostering.
- EPLS, cannulation, and venipuncture skills.
- Manchester triage training.
