About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Java Software Engineer to join our team at SPE Travelers Management, LTD. As a key member of our Technology team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and implementing software solutions that enable a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and test software applications using Java 11 or greater, with a strong focus on Spring, Spring Boot, and Webservices.
  • Work closely with the DevOps team to ensure smooth deployment and management of cloud-native/containerized applications.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying knowledge to formulate innovative solutions for software engineering problems.
Requirements
  • Strong programming experience in Java 11 or greater, with a focus on Spring, Spring Boot, and Webservices.
  • Proficient in API design and implementation, with experience in architecting and developing robust RESTful APIs.
  • Experience designing and implementing data-driven applications using relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience deploying and managing cloud-native/containerized applications in scalable environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to deliver work at a steady, predictable pace.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead team members and foster a safe environment for others to learn and grow.
