Job Title: 3D Workshop Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join our team in the Powder Coating department. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring efficient production processes, and motivating your team to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage and coordinate the daily activities of the workshop team, ensuring timely completion of tasks and projects.
  2. Develop and implement efficient production schedules using our ERP system, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  3. Lead by example, demonstrating a hands-on approach to manufacturing processes and training new team members.
  4. Monitor and analyze productivity levels, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize performance.
  5. Motivate and develop the team, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential.
  6. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, reporting any incidents or concerns to senior management.
  7. Collaborate with senior management to achieve business objectives and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  1. Previous experience as a Manager or Supervisor in an engineering manufacturing company.
  2. Powder Coating or Paintline department experience is desirable but not essential.
  3. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  4. IT literacy and experience with ERP software.
  5. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.

  1. A competitive salary up to £35k per annum.
  2. A productivity bonus scheme, available after a probationary period.
  3. 33 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  4. A contributory pension scheme.
  5. Day shifts, Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Fridays.
