Clear Engineering Recruitment is seeking an experienced Power Generation Maintenance Specialist to join their team in Wigan. This role offers a competitive salary of £37,100 - £45,000 per annum, plus overtime and bonuses.

The successful candidate will have experience working with 450KW+ equipment, including CHPs, Gas Engines, and renewable energy systems. They will be responsible for service, maintenance, breakdowns, and commissioning, as well as electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs.

This is a challenging role that requires strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will be required to work Monday to Friday, covering a regional patch with occasional call-outs.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Service, maintenance, and commissioning of power generation equipment
  2. Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs
  3. Working with customers to resolve issues and provide technical support
  4. Maintenance of records and reporting of site activities

Requirements:

  • Experience working with 450KW+ equipment
  • Familiarity with CHP, Diesel or Gas Engines, Generators, UPS Industrial Plant, or similar
  • Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or time served (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)
  • X-Forces considered NAVY/REME
