We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Quality Manager to join our team. As a key member of our quality department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our manufacturing processes.

The Automotive Quality Manager Role:
  1. Lead and direct all aspects of quality on site
  2. Develop and implement quality standards across our extrusion plants
  3. Liaise with operations and other plants to promote best practice
  4. Attend quality meetings and conduct cross-audits
  5. Design and implement process flowsheets, plant layouts, and material handling systems
  6. Evaluate current and potential processing methods
  7. Monitor and analyse key performance indicators of process operations
  8. Create and distribute monthly quality reports
  9. Work with cross-functional teams and lead direct reports
  10. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
The Automotive Quality Manager Candidate:
  1. Experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong quality background
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  3. Familiarity with quality standards and effective communication
  4. Previous experience of managing and motivating a team
  5. A demonstrated ability as a leader with developing skills
  6. In-depth understanding of automotive quality processes and documentation
  7. Experience in continuous improvement, problem-solving, and change management
  8. Lean Six Sigma or a higher diploma
  9. Master's degree in quality assurance or business management
