**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Item Checker for the National 5 Fashion & Textile Technology question paper.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Review questions, items, or tasks and appropriate supporting marking instructions for course assessments under the direction of the Principal Assessor.
  • Ensure that all assessments are conducted within the conditions, time frames, and arrangements set by the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Assessor to develop and implement effective marking instructions.
  • Attend a checking meeting, which will be held in late August/September, and participate in the review and validation of assessment materials.
