We are seeking a highly skilled Item Checker to join our team at the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing questions, items or tasks and appropriate supporting marking instructions for course assessments under the direction of the Principal Assessor.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing questions and items to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Developing and implementing marking instructions
- Collaborating with the Principal Assessor to ensure high-quality assessments
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the assessment process and excellent analytical and communication skills.
As an Item Checker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity and validity of our assessments.
