About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Operations Manager to lead our Vegetation Management programme of work. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of this programme, ensuring that all on-site activities are delivered in line with the specific contract framework requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage the delivery and financial performance of the programme, identifying and mitigating any risks that may impact the budget.
  • Ensure the planning, coordination, and supervision of the programme are delivered in accordance with the Contract, regularly monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
  • Provide coaching, assessment, and supervision to your teams and supply chain partners to ensure all activities are completed to the required standards and meet the programme outputs.
  • Work closely with operational support functions to ensure good coordination between all programmes of work.
  • Promote and maintain all aspects associated with Health, Safety, and Environmental responsibility, ensuring the team complies with Avove's Work Together, Safe Together ethos and H&S system.
  • Manage the productivity and utilization of your teams and supply chain partners to ensure the work is delivered in the most cost-effective way.
  • Deliver an excellent customer experience, including the management of customer complaints.
About You

We are looking for a highly experienced Principal Operations Manager with a strong background in operational management, particularly within the Vegetation Management sector. You will have a proven track record of overseeing contracts through their entire lifecycle, including a strong working knowledge of NEC contract forms. You will be adept at driving process improvements, managing complex projects, and leading teams to success.
