Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Administrator to join our team in Leicester. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our mortgage and protection advisors, ensuring efficient processing of insurance applications and maintaining accurate records.

The starting salary for this role is up to £26,000 per annum, with an estimated OTE (On Target Earnings) of £28,000 in the first year.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, 9am-5:30pm. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic and award-winning company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase insurance providers, GP surgeries, advisors, and clients for updates on application progress.
  • Email or contact clients to inform them of their application status.
  • Record all notes and case activities using our web-based platform.
  • Perform general office administration tasks, including post, phone answering, and data entry.

Requirements:

  • A background in administration, preferably in a financial environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Methodical and thorough approach to work, with strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Desire to show initiative and take ownership of tasks.
