Job Summary:

Play It Fair is seeking an experienced Automotive Manufacturing Engineer to manage the processes and complexities of building new models, from initial concept designs through prototype stages to series production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Management: Support cross-functional business activities, including concept/design reviews, engineering release delivery, and Design for Manufacturability and Assembly (DFMEA).
  • Transition and Validation: Transition from virtual environment validation to physical validation and delivery.
  • Alignment and Strategy: Align new models with existing series products and future brand evolution strategies (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve production bottlenecks in collaboration with Engineering and Operations teams.
  • Design and Layout: Lead the design of new layouts and material flow or amend existing ones to ensure alignment with the facility's overall plan and vision.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in mechanical/automotive engineering or equivalent experience in a similar role.
  • Experience: Experience in planning and executing new vehicle programs.
  • Skills: Ability to identify and resolve product-related issues while ensuring quality targets are met.
  • Desirable Skills: Previous experience with complex vehicle systems, vehicle assembly processes, trim and final processes, and end-of-line vehicle processing/finishing.
