Holiday Cover Cleaning Operative Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team at St Enoch Shopping Centre. As a Holiday Cover Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness throughout the centre, including the food court, mall, and toilets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a high level of cleanliness is maintained on a daily basis by completing a range of cleaning activities, including mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, and emptying bins using machinery.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives.
  • Assist in maintaining Health and Safety standards at all times.
  • Deal with customer requests promptly and courteously.

Requirements:

  • Flexibility and ability to work a variety of shifts.
  • Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Reliable and responsible with a flexible approach to work.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Previous cleaning experience is preferred.
