Compass Corporate Services is representing a highly respected care provider with a large number of care homes providing care for the elderly.
The homes provide care for a mixture of privately funded and local authority clientele and have a brilliant ethos with values placed around the high quality care of their residents.
Position OverviewAt present, they are seeking a Home Manager to lead their medium-sized residential home in Basildon (55 beds). The home itself will provide residential care for elderly and dementia service users.
The service is well established but currently not running to the level of quality required, so they are seeking someone with strong experience or a turnaround background.
The CandidateYou'll either have a Registered Managers Award Level 4, or Leadership and Management in Care level 4/5, or a willingness to study for one.
You will also have leadership experience of residential care teams, understand how to identify safeguarding issues, be able to conduct risk assessments, and have the ability to seek advice and report concerns or escalate action where required.
