Role Overview

Semester is currently seeking an experienced Enterprise Growth Support Specialist to join their team and support the delivery of business development and enterprise growth projects.

About the Job

This long-term temporary role involves supporting the delivery of externally funded projects, with responsibilities including financial monitoring, compliance, project information coordination, and administrative support.

The ideal candidate will have a background in project support, financial administration, and compliance, with experience working on externally funded projects and using financial software and reporting systems.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development Support: Assist in delivering business development and enterprise growth projects, with a focus on financial management and compliance.
  2. Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, including organising meetings and providing updates on project progress.
  3. Financial Management: Manage payments, receipts, and prepare necessary documentation for grant claims and reports.
  4. Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with externally funded project requirements and maintain proper project files and documentation for auditing purposes.
  5. Procurement & Budget Management: Place orders for project-related expenditures and manage project budgets.
  6. Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to managers and officers.
  7. Performance Monitoring & Improvement: Assist in maintaining effective performance monitoring systems and ensuring continuous improvement across projects.

The estimated salary range for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
