Job Title: Speech and Language Care Professional

Estimated Salary: £43,500 - £49,100 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are proud to offer a unique opportunity for a skilled Speech and Language Care Professional to join our team in Lancashire, providing expert care to individuals who have experienced brain injuries.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement tailored therapy programmes to help individuals regain essential communication and swallowing skills.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of individuals with complex mental and physical health needs, working collaboratively with therapists, nurses, and support staff to ensure holistic, person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement tailored communication and dysphagia therapy programmes.
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with complex mental and physical health needs.
  • Collaborate with therapists, nurses, and support staff to ensure effective care.
  • Supervise junior team members, volunteers, and students.
  • Liaise with families and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in managing dysphagia.
  • Skills: Ability to work autonomously while managing a diverse caseload.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with evidence-based practices and relevant assessment tools.
