Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Commercial Fire Safety Engineer to join our team in Oxfordshire. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems, ensuring the highest level of safety and compliance with industry standards.

Main Duties:

  • Install and maintain fire alarm systems to meet the requirements of BS 5839-1
  • Carry out daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of fire alarm systems
  • Repair and replace faulty fire alarm equipment
  • Conduct site surveys to identify potential fire hazards
  • Train apprentices and other engineers on fire alarm system maintenance and repair

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in the fire alarm industry
  • FIA Level or equivalent qualification
  • Extensive knowledge of British Standards BS 5839 and BS 5266
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (40 hours a week)
