Restaurant Shift Leader Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Shift Leader to join our team at Haggerston Castle Holiday Park in Northumberland. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deputise for the Restaurant Manager in their absence and escalate any issues as required.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment for staff and guests.
  • Induct and support new starters and complete core departmental training.
  • Deliver a hands-on approach to restaurant duties and greet guests.
  • Lead and coach the team on shift to ensure all areas of responsibility are met.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a supervisor, deputy manager, or team leader in a restaurant, local pub, or customer service/retail environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work a rota over a 7-day period, including evenings and weekends.
