Job Title: KS1 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team at a 2-form entry Primary School in the BS16 area of Bristol.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting pupils with learning in the KS1 classrooms, working closely with the class teachers to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils with learning in the KS1 classrooms
  • Assisting with lesson planning and preparation
  • Providing individual and group support to pupils
  • Contributing to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Strong positive behaviour management strategies
  • Enthusiasm, flexibility, and proactivity
  • Resilience in dealing with daily challenges
  • Confidence working independently and within a team
  • Able to motivate, inspire, and challenge children
