Ward Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Ward Manager to join our team at South West London and St Georges Mental Health NHS Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the inpatient nursing team on Jupiter Ward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the inpatient nursing team to uphold high standards of patient care and services.
- Develop and implement clinical governance initiatives and policy reviews to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Recruit, select, and retain nursing staff, and participate in the selection of other members of the multi-disciplinary team.
- Monitor sickness and absence of nursing staff, and ensure that all staff members are aware of current risk assessment procedures and management plans.
- Implement and contribute to policy and service development, and participate in the monthly Ward Managers development programme.
- Ensure that all staff members adhere to the Mental Health Act 1983, and that all relevant documentation is current, updated, and appropriately filed.
- RMN (current NMC registration)
- ENB 998 or equivalent
- Evidence of post-qualification training/education
- Ongoing evidence of continuing professional development
