Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager Senior to lead our Infrastructure Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a dynamic and growing team, achieving efficient operational and financial management of civil engineering projects. You will work closely with the Group Commercial Director, Operations Manager, and project management to ensure successful project delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain effective communications with the Group Commercial Director, Operations Manager, project management, and other associated disciplines.
  • Provide commercial contact with supply chain partners through pre-contract meetings, contract evaluation, and input to subcontract documents.
  • Agree terms and engage legal and commercial consultants and monitor their accounts.
  • Maintain contact with supply chain partners through contract evaluation and input to contract documentation.
  • Ensure the production of monthly CVRs, quarterly forecasts, and company tied costs.
  • Obtain cash-flow information and present all reports.
  • Provide input to dispute identification and management.
  • Provide commercial input to contacts with clients, and if necessary, client's representatives.
  • Provide commercial advice to the site team in connection with all project issues and provide input to area commercial discussions/reviews.
  • Carry out sub-contract document evaluation and input to sub-contract documentation.
  • Provide input into the preconstruction phase of projects by agreeing final settlement on tenders.
  • Ensure audits are carried out and feedback is provided to the business.


A competitive basic salary of £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience, along with a generous accompanying package, including a great working environment, interesting and challenging work, and opportunities to make an impact on a wider scale.
