Industrial Equipment Specialist Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for an Industrial Equipment Specialist to join our team in Malton, North Yorkshire. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing all equipment within the assigned department to ensure maximum production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure maximum production efficiency.
  • Undertake repairs and replacements of faulty equipment using Pirana maintenance system.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
  • Contribute to the development of a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role with a focus on industrial equipment maintenance.
  • Relevant engineering qualifications, such as an Engineering NVQ or equivalent.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and protocols, including Good Manufacturing Practices.
