Senior Buyer - Indirect Spend Categories

Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is seeking a seasoned Senior Buyer to join their team. As a key member of the procurement function, you will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies to ensure optimal supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for multiple countries to drive cost savings and risk mitigation
  • Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and drive business growth
  • Manage and analyze procurement data to inform strategic decision-making

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement or buying within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Proficiency in procurement software and tools (SAP preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to drive results-oriented solutions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders
