Procurement Specialist - Indirect Categories
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Procurement Specialist to join our team at BioTalent. As a Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing indirect procurement categories, including IT & Telecommunications, Marketing & Advertising, Professional Services, Facilities Management, Travel & Accommodation, Office Supplies & Equipment, and Logistics & Transportation.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and manage Purchase Orders to ensure smooth procurement operations.
- Negotiate with suppliers for spend under €50k, building strong relationships and driving cost savings.
- Ensure compliance in all procurement processes, collaborating with Finance, Compliance, and Legal teams.
- Support sourcing activities and drive improvements in procurement processes.
- Train and assist teams on procurement policies, contributing to harmonization across affiliates.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in Procurement, ideally in Indirect Procurement. Pharmaceutical industry experience is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work collaboratively with a dispersed team.
- Experience with SAP MM, eSourcing, and other Procurement Suites is an advantage.
- Enthusiastic, eager to learn, and grow in a fast-paced, international environment.
