Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Design Engineer to join our team in Truro. As a Research and Development Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electronic systems and products. You will work closely with our Product Development Manager to bring new and innovative products to market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electronic systems and products using analogue and digital electronic design principles
- Fault find and troubleshoot electronic systems and products
- Program embedded and/or applications software
- Design and generate PCB layouts
- Construct prototypes, including soldering
- Conduct compliance testing of existing and new products
- Propose plans to improve the efficiency of existing products and develop new products
- Assist other engineers in developing new products and manufacturing processes
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of electronic design principles and practices
- Experience in analogue and digital electronic design
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
