Job Title: Diesel Field Service Engineer - Depot

At WB Power Services Ltd, we are currently recruiting a Diesel Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Diesel Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for working in a workshop and site environment, where you will be required to perform mechanical and electrical fault finding, repair and service of generators, and investigate, diagnose and resolve reports of technical problems with equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work both in a workshop and site environment
  • Mechanical and electrical fault finding
  • Repair and service of generators
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve reports of technical problems with equipment
  • Service equipment both on and off site
  • Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and solve problems
  • Complete paperwork and timesheets in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with relevant procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
  • Ensure work/personal equipment complies with all safety standards
  • Presentation of a professional image at all times
  • Take responsibility for health and safety of self, colleagues and customers in line with the Company Health and Safety Policy

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years generator experience and utilities contracts
  • Knowledge of engines, alternators, control panels and wiring diagrams
