About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lead Dietitian for Renal and Diabetes Services to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.

This is a fantastic chance for a dedicated dietitian with a specialist interest in renal and diabetes to thrive. The post is available as a permanent Band 6 position, requiring practice experience; however, we also offer support for appointment to a Development and Progression post, enabling a new band 5 dietitian to develop their competencies in the role and progress to Band 6 on completion of agreed competencies within a specified period, depending on prior experience.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, deliver, and evaluate best practices in relation to Renal & Diabetes, collaborating with multi-agency teams.
  • Contribute to the development of the dietetic team, joining an enthusiastic and friendly group of over 80 dietitians delivering services in acute and primary care, and public health. Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is approximately £32,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer ongoing professional development opportunities and a collaborative and supportive work environment.
