About the Role:

Shire Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Animal Feed Ingredients Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing high-quality animal feed ingredients for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and traders to ensure a stable and competitive supply of animal feed ingredients.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities in the animal feed ingredients market.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to ensure the best possible value for our clients.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of procurement activities, including supplier contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Collaborate with our sales and marketing teams to ensure that our clients' needs are met and that our products are competitively priced.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and trends, and make recommendations to our management team on how to improve our procurement processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
  • Proven experience in procurement or a related field, with a strong understanding of the animal feed ingredients market.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
