We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Pain Management Team at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Psychologist for Chronic Pain, you will play a key role in providing highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions for individuals living with persistent pain and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide highly specialist psychological assessments and interventions for individuals with complex pain needs
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective pain management plans
- Contribute to the development and delivery of group-based interventions for pain management
- Provide consultation and guidance to other healthcare professionals on psychological approaches for pain management
- Supervise and support junior staff members in the development of their clinical skills
