About the Job

Monsoon is seeking a Range Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for managing category strategies, developing channel plans, and working with merchandising teams to identify range and price architectures.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering over and above sales targets, as well as a confident and ambitious approach to articulating brand DNA. We welcome applications from individuals with a commercial mindset and a passion for fashion.

As a Range Development Specialist, you will be responsible for reviewing last season's performance, creating lessons learnt documents, and supporting the development of category strategy. You will also work with merchandising teams to agree on range and price architectures, identify supply chain implications, and undertake development trips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Critical Path Management: Reviewing last season's performance and creating lessons learnt documents.
  • Category Strategy Development: Supporting the development of category strategy, specifically by agreeing on range and price architectures with merchandising teams.
  • Supply Chain Management: Identifying supply chain implications of new category strategies.
  • Range Building: Undertaking development trips and supporting supplier development meetings (in partnership with design teams).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within the fashion industry.
  • Proven track record of delivering over and above sales targets.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to articulate brand DNA.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
