About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Apprentice Accountant. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional accountancy and business support services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and post trial balances onto accounts software.
  • Analyze bank statements and reconcile them with cash books in Excel.
  • Complete accounts file working papers in Excel and post them onto accounts software.
  • Apply accounting principles and identify client queries.
  • Post accounting journals and disclosure data onto accounts software.
  • Prepare corporation tax computations and accounts files for signing.
  • Bookkeeping in accountancy software and preparation of Payroll reports.
  • Ad hoc administrative duties as needed by the office.
  • Preparation and submission of VAT, CIS, Corporation Tax, and Self-Assessment returns to HMRC.
Training and Development
  • AAT Level 3 Accounting qualification.
  • Online training through self-paced eLearning and live online classes.
  • Functional skills in English and Mathematics, if required.
