Fitter/Technician Opportunity in Aberdeen: Join Clements Technical Recruitment

We are seeking a skilled Fitter/Technician to join our client's team in Aberdeen. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual to work in a leading engineering business, contributing to the success of the company by ensuring all work is carried out in a cost-effective manner. The successful candidate will identify areas for improvement and implement changes to reduce costs.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in assembling and inspecting rotating equipment such as pumps, motors, and generators. A minimum qualification in Mechanical Engineering (C&G) is required, as well as the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and possess good attention to detail. Knowledge of health and safety requirements is also essential.

This is a permanent role offering a salary of £43,226 per annum, with opportunities for overtime.   • About the Role:
  • Work closely with the Technical Quality Team to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures and processes
  • Conduct thorough inspections of rotating equipment to identify potential issues and recommend repairs
  • Perform repairs and maintenance tasks, including dismantling, repairing, and reassembling equipment
  • Compile detailed reports of work completed and any recommendations for future improvements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and tidy working environment
