We have an exciting opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd.

About the Role

Schools across West Cornwall require dedicated and passionate cover supervisors to ensure a positive and safe learning environment.

As a Cover Supervisor, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supervising classes in the absence of the teacher
  • Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Implementing pre-prepared lesson plans
  • Collaborating with support staff
  • Promoting the safeguarding and welfare of all students

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working with children, preferably within an educational or coaching setting
  • Patient, empathetic, and dedicated
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning
  • A strong understanding of SEN and strategies to support young people
  • Adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location

This role is based in Hayle, West Cornwall, and requires you to have access to your own car.

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £110 per day, dependent on experience and qualifications.
