Key Role in Heritage Project

This critical position is essential for the successful execution of a two-year heritage project. As a key team member, you will oversee and manage all aspects of the project, including volunteer recruitment, training, and support.

You will work closely with stakeholders, partners, experts, and project reporting to ensure seamless collaboration and progress tracking against initial project goals.

A significant aspect of this role is line management responsibility for the part-time Heritage Volunteer Coordinator post. You will provide comprehensive support to engage and recruit volunteers, ensuring accessibility and inclusion are embedded in volunteering practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project management and coordination of the heritage project
  • Recruitment, training, and support of volunteers
  • Line management of the part-time Heritage Volunteer Coordinator
  • Grant and contract management
  • Reporting and data analysis

Requirements:

  • Qualification in project management, archiving, or relevant fields
  • Heritage sector experience and qualifications
  • High-standard report writing skills
  • Experience in grant and/or contract management

Estimated Salary: £35,000 per annum
