About Us: As a leading expert in historic environment consulting, we are seeking a talented and motivated Senior or Principal Heritage Consultant to join our newly established Historic Environment team.

The Role: You will report to the Historic Environment Lead and assist in delivering heritage input across a portfolio of projects across England, Scotland, and Wales. Your responsibilities will include providing expert advice, engaging with curators and stakeholders, designing archaeological surveys, and managing your workload.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Archaeology or a related subject
  • Extensive knowledge of UK legislation and planning policy regarding the historic environment
  • Demonstrable experience in Desk-based Assessments, Heritage Statements, and Environmental Statement Technical Chapters
  • Applied knowledge of GIS for archaeological assessments
  • Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel
  • Membership of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists at ACIfA accreditation, ideally MCIfA accreditation

Salary: £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
