Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our dedicated team at Blake Vets.

About the Role

This full-time position offers a great work-life balance, with an average of 38 hours per week and a 1:7 whole weekend commitment. The successful candidate will also be required to work one night duty per week.

The ideal candidate will have sound surgical skills as well as excellent consultation skills. As part of our dynamic team, you will work alongside 8 experienced Veterinary Surgeons, 11 Registered Veterinary Nurses, and a dedicated Support Team.

As a Veterinary Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working closely with our nursing team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing routine surgeries and procedures
  • Providing excellent client communication and consultation services
  • Collaborating with our team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in veterinary surgery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Sound time management and organizational skills
