Job Title: Depot Stores Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Depot Stores Coordinator to join our team in Livingston. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient delivery, collection, and servicing of hires and off-hires, which will lead to improved revenue and customer satisfaction.

The role also involves maintaining a tidy and safe working environment for employees and visitors at the depot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts inventory in central stores, ensuring minimum stock levels at all times.
  • Update the inventory management system regularly and share details with Operational Supervisors.
  • Order parts from suppliers, raising purchase orders on our in-house system.
  • Maintain documentation for auditing purposes.
  • Receive deliveries, check for discrepancies, and liaise with suppliers.
  • Pick and package parts for internal use and nationwide export.
  • Organize and deliver goods from central stores to other depots when required.
  • Enhance equipment availability, ensuring smooth fleet movement throughout the depot network.
  • Collaborate with the National Service Manager to support quick repair turnarounds.
  • Assist with loading/unloading equipment using a forklift in the workshop and yard.
Requirements:
  • Experience in a similar position.
  • Confidence in driving a forklift, ideally with a certificate.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively with various teams.
